2012 new clutch orientation question
Hello everyone I recently swapped the clutch in my 2012 impreza base with an fb20 engine and manual transmission. clutch kit used was an Exedy KSB04. After putting the engine back in and buttoning everything up I noticed the old friction plate had a side labeled for flywheel. I now know friction plates have to be put on a certain way. Stupid me I know, but the car goes into and out of gear just fine, clutch feels normal. My question is would it have even gone back together if I had put it on wrong? are there any clear indicators while driving it that points to an incorrect orientation? I am ordering a borescope and am going to look in through the starter hole in the bell housing to hopefully get some visual confirmation but would like to know of any other way to confirm its either right or wrong.
