‘23 kona ev seat warmer randomly turns on

hi! just wanted to post about this issue since i haven’t seen too many recent ones on reddit. i recently bought a used 2023 kona ev (built in the US, previously was leased by one person, clean carfax) at 26k miles for $20,000. i thought i had found a really great deal! the dealership also offered free charging for customers on the weekdays which was awesome considering how high gas prices are nowadays. that was actually my main reason for getting rid of my ‘21 honda passport! so while i’m driving my kona guilt free anywhere and everywhere, my friend was sitting in my passenger seat & notified me that the seat warmer was heating up. we checked the button and the settings but it was not turned on at all. this happened one more time while i was driving on my own so i called the dealership that i got it from to take a look at it (thankfully covered by original warranty). i will post updates since the posts i’ve seen on this didn’t have much info on what the issue actually was and get back to everyone!

update: the family owned hyundai dealership that i bought the car from drove the car for 5 miles and couldn’t duplicate the issue so they just gave me my car back & said to bring it in anytime it happens again. i think i’ll have to do so because i called a couple other hyundai’s around me to see if they’d look at the switch (because i’m pretty sure there’s an issue with the wiring under the seat) but they said they can’t do that without duplicating the issue.
