Toronto vs Turkey Rhinoplasty
Hi there! I am really starting to research surgeons for a primary rhinoplasty but don’t know which location I should go for.
Toronto
PROS
- Local, follow ups and checks ins with the same dr
- No language barrier
CONS
- Way more expensive ($13,000 minimum) - I’m still paying off student loans I can’t fathom spending this. However if I know I’ll give me a perfect dream nose I’d think about it
- Even the most expensive surgeons I’ve researched ($18,000) have mixed reviews
Turkey
PROS -
- Cheaper,
- Plastic surgery capital (I almost feel like they know what they’re doing more in turkey?)
CONS
- Language barrier (this is big for me because I have very specific details I want and don’t want for my nose)
- I’m scared of getting the stereotypical Barbie/piggy nose
- Not local (I’m worried about follow ups and if something goes wrong what would happen in that situation)
Please drop anyyyy information u have on Toronto or Turkey surgeons, pros and cons from ur experience, prices and opinions! Thanks so much!
ALSO - Id love to hear about recovery time. I know it takes up to 2 years to see results but how soon can you go to like a wedding for example after the surgery and not be super super swollen? Also what’s the best time a year to get one? I heard fall or autumn? Thank u!!
