Please help me pay for school
My name is Kyle, and I never thought I would have to ask strangers for help to chase something as simple as an education.
I grew up believing that if I worked hard enough, stayed focused, and kept pushing through difficult times, I could build a better future for myself and my family. For years, my dream has been to attend Dalhousie University and continue my education, but right now that dream feels like it’s slipping away because of money.
Over the past few years, things have been financially difficult for me. Between rising living costs, bills, and trying to balance school and work, saving enough for tuition, housing, books, and transportation has become overwhelming. I’ve been applying for jobs, searching for summer work, and trying to do everything I can on my own, but it still isn’t enough.
Going to Dalhousie would mean more than just getting a degree. It would mean getting the opportunity to build a stable future, make my family proud, and finally create opportunities that we’ve never really had before. I want to study hard, work hard, and eventually give back to the people who helped me when I needed it most.
It’s difficult for me to ask for help because I’ve always tried to handle things myself, but I’m at a point where I can’t do this alone. Any donation — no matter how small — would go directly toward tuition, textbooks, housing, and helping me move to Halifax so I can attend school.
