Hey everyone! We’re currently casting two roles for our sci-fi audio drama Orbit 9:

MARK THOMPSON – Lead role. An energetic, adventurous 11-year-old boy with a big heart and an even bigger desire to become a hero.

ARCHIVE – Recurring supporting role. The Contessa’s advanced AI system and Robo Dad’s intelligent, composed laboratory assistant.

Hey everyone,

I’m currently casting the final main role for Orbit 9, an original sci-fi audio drama centered on found family, adventure, mystery, and heart.

The role I’m currently looking to fill is Robo Dad — one of the central dramatic anchors of the series.

Robo Dad is Mark’s father, now transformed into a human-cybernetic fusion after a life-altering accident. He is stoic, deeply intelligent, emotionally restrained, and protective to a fault. He approaches the world through logic, precision, and control, often speaking with blunt clarity rather than warmth, but beneath that restraint is a man still carrying love, grief, and the weight of who he used to be.

This role needs someone who can sound analytical, controlled, and grounded, while still letting buried humanity come through. He should not sound overly robotic — the performance should feel more like a serious, strategic man struggling to connect emotionally than a machine.
