F2P player here who is back playing Magic after a long break.
As I'm slowly building my collection (either with Limited or Standard Event) I was trying to find resources I could study.
I feel like I lose a lot of games because I misunderstand the state of the game (ex. I play passive when I should push with my creatures or tap out instead of leaving mana open) + not understanding how tempo works.

I'd say these are intermidiate/advanced stuff but maybe someone would consider these to be pretty basic principles.
