To me that show was her prime vocally so far

You could critisize anything but not the vocals.... I was GAGGED by the vocals the whole show. The vocals were very very very f****ing tight, like never before!!! Not a single microsecond of something out of place. And like she was doing nothing, so smooth. She elevated vocally allll the songs, even the notorious high notes of break free, into you etc...DW could have it's own session, that was the BEST DW OF HER CAREER... all the vocals were the best of her career!!! The vocals were so strong and dramatic especially in ES deluxe...i could keep talking...

What do you expect as 'feral' for Petal sound?

Ariana described it as feral and said it was going in a direction she had always been too shy or too polite to explore before. When she said that, I actually imagined something completely different, like dramatic rock, kind of Evanescence idkw. But maybe she was talking more about the lyricism than the actual sound.

Anyways, I'm kind of picturing a lot of distorted guitars, like on breathin, Dangerous Woman, or I Don't Care. There was also that insider who mentioned a shoegaze-inspired vibe. I looked into shoegaze and wasn't totally convinced at first, but maybe they're referring to exactly that: heavily distorted guitars mixed with a dreamy, experimental pop atmosphere.

There was also another insider who claimed that three songs had been sent to iHeartRadio and that they were all incredible, but so different from one another that it was hard to imagine how they'd fit together on the same album. Apparently, in one of those songs Ariana was competing vocally with a guitar.

That got me thriled... but you know, are just allegations..

I would love some guitars and trumpets. What are you guys imagining/hoping for?
