We got my medication dosage increased yesterday (victory!! Because I’m not really sure why it was decreased since I was doing find with my dosage at the time of my 2 year seizure free period) but yea I get it seeing if it was a temporary occurrence. Anyways we have yet again scheduled another appointment, this time an MRI to see if anything has changed since I got my first MRI after being diagnosed with epilepsy at 11. Afterwards I’m set to be hospitalized for a week in an EEG without medication to see where they come from so fingers crossed this all goes well!! 🤞🏼

I’m worried, not sure why but I visit my neurologist today and I woke up with the feeling I get when I can feel my body is about to have a seizure. So I’m nervous and not sure what to do in case this does happen :/

I 22f just broke my ongoing streak of not having any seizures today and I’m just so angry. I’m many things right now but mostly angry because I just can’t seem to catch a break. I was about to go on 3 weeks and yes it’s not much but it’s an accomplishment. I’ve gone a week or less without any seizures and things just seem to get worse over time. I’m feeling as if another seizure may come on as my head is currently in lots of pain. Any advice to make things better? Or less frequent. I understand this is a rant with a little bit of asking for advice

So as I write this I’m currently at work. I was just talking to a customer because I work in retail and just spaced out for like a second or two followed by confusion and the need to have to ask again. Because I’ve only experienced tonic clinics before, I was curious if that was actually a smaller seizure I just experienced? I’m beginning to familiarize myself with absent and focal inspired seizures. I just don’t know which one it may have been of if it was more of a sign to prepare myself for a tonic clonic? I drove myself to work today after reaching my 3 months of being seizure free, so I don’t want to endanger myself or others if this is the case.
