T-14 indirect fire Testing
You may ask why I'm trying this and honestly, I just think it would be cool as fuck to be able to hit targets at high distance. No matter what, if you can see them or not , and it just adds that cool Factor.
So I spent most of today trying to find an exact pattern in the T-14 elevation to range ratio as the T-14 is one of the few tanks that has a way to measure the angle of the barrel i found that when the barrel was pointed straight it and the radon number was at 00-00 it went a minimum 600 Meters. I also found that the Max range no matter your elevation is 3500 (even when i went onca 700 meters tall hill and fire it still only landed 3500 meters away. But I've been finding so many discrepancies. I cannot make a consistent fire model to use to make fire missions. I went on a map that had flat ground that I had found in the workshop and began testing. Original i thought when every time you raised the barrel 00-01 raedon number it add 50 meters to the distance and the elevation difference of 5 whether it was plus or minus would change by 2.4
So logic states that if I wanted to hit a target1
2800 meters away on level ground, I would have to the range the barrel to 44 and it would hit my desired target as 44x50 = 2200 + 600 minimum it goes would make the 2800. But actually the round landed only 2175 ahead of target and I was puzzled so after mor testing I could find any constancy in distance added per barrel angle raised
So I turned to the community to help me figure out what I should test, or if anyone wants to try to test this themselves and see what they get.
