Anyone know why there are so many military jets swooping around today (and yesterday)? They're loud!!

I have recently gotten married and due to the visa situation in the US am moving to Marrakech for at least a few years starting in August. What is the best way to get my personal electronics (eg desktop computer) here? I was going to check it as luggage but the airline is not thrilled about this plan. Is there a way to ship it?
