Join us this Wednesday at 7 PM for a Hyattsville Police & Public Safety Advisory Committee meeting, featuring a presentation from the Hyattsville Police Department on how Flock cameras are used in the city.

There will be a short public comment period before the meeting starts for community members to share questions or concerns. During the meeting itself, the public can listen in but won't be able to ask questions directly.

Want a real say in how public safety works in Hyattsville? PPSAC is looking for new members after some recent departures, and we'd love for you to consider joining us.

The committee meets once a month to discuss public safety issues affecting our city and provides recommendations directly to the City Council. It's a genuine opportunity to shape policy and make sure residents' voices are heard on issues that matter.

What's the commitment? Just one meeting a month, a couple hours max. Members also receive a small stipend for their participation.
