Leaky Fujitsu less than 1 yesr after leak test and repair
I have a Fujitsu mini split unit system about 13-14 years old. For the past few years, I have had to fill up the refrigerant for the summer season. Not cheap, couple hundred every year after trying a few companies. Last year, charged up the system only to have the freon leak out a few weeks later. The company came back to do a leak test. They found a leak on the copper tube of the compressor (soapy bubbles). Fixed it and also put Nu Calgon in the system, and charged up the system. $2700 later I was good for the summer. Not even a year later, started up the system today and it’s blowing out hot air again. Going to contact the company again but looking for advice. Do I probably need a new system? Seems like a bad leak or this company didn’t do too well? Disappointed this happened after spending all that money last summer.
