Advice needed about birth control side effects

Hey guys. So I am about a week into taking the progestin-only Heather 0.35 mini pill. I can’t take estrogen because I have the Factor 5 gene (prone to blood clots).

Pretty much immediately, I feel like I’m experiencing some side effects. I think mood swings, irritability, anxiety, depression and suicidality have ramped up. It’s been hard to tell because I’ve always struggled with those things, but it felt like a quick escalation that wasn’t tied to anything circumstantial in my life.

I also feel like I’ve experienced sluggishness, brain fog, chest pains and pins and needles feelings, and even felt myself stuttering over my words a bit?

I have pretty intense health anxiety so I’m trying not panic. I feel like I can’t even tell if my symptoms are real or if I’m making them up.

But should I stop taking the pill? Should I tell my doctor? She basically told me that this pill was all I could do for my PCOS and that if it doesn’t work, I’ll just be “living with my symptoms.”

Any advice or input is appreciated </3
