My graduation was yesterday and while packing/moving out, my mom accidentally threw out the diploma folder UBC gave us during the ceremony 😭

I’m in the 4pm graduation ceremony but I didn’t book my gown rental, so I’ll have to rent it on the same day.
The issue is that the bookstore closes at 6:30pm and apparently gowns need to be returned before then, which means I’d probably only have like 20-30 mins after the ceremony for photos.
Does anyone know if I can show up earlier (like around 1:30pm), rent the gown then, take photos beforehand, attend the ceremony, and return it before 6:30?
Or do they only let you pick up gowns closer to your ceremony time? Will they even know I’m not in the 1:30 ceremony?
