Interview

I interviewed with Peel District School Board for an Occasional Teacher position about a month ago. A few days after the interview, my references were contacted.

It has now been about a month, and I still haven’t heard anything back.

For those who have gone through the PDSB hiring process:

  • Is it normal to wait this long after references are checked?
  • Does contacting references usually mean you are being seriously considered?
  • How long did it take for you to receive an offer or update?

I’m trying to understand whether this timeline is typical or if I should assume that decisions are still pending.

Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences.
