Starting APWH in a week. What should I do until then?
In terms of preparing, like practice writing/format of DBQs/SAQs/etc, study habits, etc. What do you recommend? Also, good note-taking styles, people to watch?

I wanted to share an opportunity for students interested in economics, business, finance, or public policy. This is a free 6-week fellowship for high school students exploring economic ideas. The program includes weekly lectures by mentors, independent research, peer collaboration, and a final capstone project where fellows develop their own analysis of an economic question.
Students will be supported by mentors with backgrounds in economics, including 1 Econ student, 3 Graduates, and a PhD Graduate advisor, while working alongside other students interested in similar fields. We are also developing an alumni network for the program to help with students who successfully complete the fellowship.
The inaugural cohort will focus on the future of Capitalism. Applications for Early Decision for February-March of 2027 are open. Feel free to comment or DM if you’re interested or want more information!
Hi! I'm helping to build a student-led educational nonprofit focused on economics, public policy, and related fields, and we're looking to expand our creative team with a few motivated high school students. We are looking for people interested in roles related to directing social media, content creation, graphic design and artwork, or branding.
Some examples of what you'd get to work on include:
No formal experience is expected. If you've used Canva or Photoshop, or just enjoy making things look good, that's more than enough. This role wouldn't require too much time commitment and it would be fully remote, but we do expect interest in our project and in spreading the fields of economics for youth.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, leave a comment and I'll reach out with more information!
I'm building a free, student-led fellowship for middle and high school students who want to explore economics beyond personal finance and investing. Instead of focusing on stocks or entrepreneurship, we'll dive into topics like competition policy, market structure, healthcare economics, regulation, and the institutions that impact modern economies.
We're currently recruiting our Founding Team to help build the fellowship from the ground up. Some roles include VP, Directors of Curriculum, Outreach, Research, Events, Partnerships, Communications, Publications, Design & Branding, Social Media, and Technology, as well as more roles if you have a specific idea!
What we are building:
No prior experience is required. We're looking for students who are genuinely curious, collaborative, and excited to build something meaningful from the very beginning.
If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a DM with your interests and any relevant experience, and I'll send you the application form + name of the org and our socials pages!
Hi everyone! I'm a high school student who wants to build a free, student-led fellowship designed for high school students who are genuinely interested in economics beyond personal finance or investing clubs.
We're planning to offer:
- An educational fellowship with seminars and discussions
- Case studies on real-world economic and antitrust issues
- Research and publication opportunities
- Guest speakers from economics, law, and public policy roles
- A collaborative community of students who enjoy asking difficult questions!
If you're interested in economics, political science, law, public policy, debate, or simply enjoy thinking about how markets and institutions shape society, feel free to comment or send me a DM, and I'll share more information about roles.
