He could’ve used inside info to make those bets. Since he was in the QB room, he knows the teams offensive game plan he had an edge on what the passing yards/td numbers would be. He also would have better knowledge of his teammates true health than what’s announced to the public.
He did not just bet on them to win as many have previously reported and restated

I am 28 and have $35k in my savings. I have zero debt. No student loans or past due credits cards over here.
However, d/t pretty serious health issues, my life expectancy is approximately 60yo. I want to retire by age 55 and leave nothing behind. I don’t have any kids or anybody else I would give my leftover savings to.
