2nd time posting about husband. Appreciate support & knowledge. Pirads 5, Gleason 3+4.PET is scheduled in 2 wks. In addition to BRCA test, Dr has added PDL1 & Precise Tumor test. No discussion about why these test where added. Any help is appreciated.
My husband went to urologist today. Appt was less than a minute. Dr said due to PI-RAD 5 a biopsy needed to be done ASAP, now scheduled for tomorrow. I had called a month ago just after MRI results to schedule a biopsy. Anyway here we are, trying to to borrow worries, but this does not feel good. Any support or comments welcome.
I want to help my husband in making best choices. Age 63,PSA 13.4. PI-RADS 5. Lesion 13 x 19 mm in bilateral anterior transition zone w extention into anterior fibromuscular stroma at base of mid gland. Sees urologist this week. What should I ask or be aware of in what might come next?
