I can’t help but feel that Edd (Numbskulls), who is on all fours, should have been Les Pretend, who is oddly not present.
No Crazy for Daisy either, who were a mainstay in the comic at the time.
Who is this character?
She appears in multiple Comic Libraries. However, I'm unable to establish whether she actually had a strip in the Beano. She has a gimmick that would lend itself well to having her own strip, even if it was only short-lived. I can't find much information about her online, so either she only existed in the Comic Libraries and never appeared in the comic itself, or she's a forgotten side character like Nervous Rex, Techno, or Crafty Colin (please tell me I'm not the only one who remembers these)

Older Beano strips used to constantly break the 4th wall
Characters talking to the reader, jokes about the editor, even the artists being part of the humour. It was really meta and chaotic in a fun way.
Feels like that’s mostly gone now
