Inactive ingredients in skincare/scalp care products
Hi, I've been thinking - is it possible that the inactive ingredients in many skincare/scalp care products that are used for fungal skin infections of the scalp or face like SebDerm are feeding the malassezia to such a degree that the active ingredient is not able to be effective enough to combat the existing overgrowth already on the skin and so that is why perhaps some people like myself don't see much success with these products? If you look up many of these products or their inactive ingredients on sites like SkinSort or Sezia.com, you will see they are not fungal acne safe as they feed malassezia. While I do believe I probably am wrong about this, it's just something I have pondered.
