I hate not being alternative enough for alt people
I've been listening to metal and a bit of gothic rock, etc., for five years.
But I've realized that to "normal" people, I'm pretty alternative.
On the other hand, alternative people often label me an imposter, which I don't understand because I genuinely enjoy what I like. I draw, I do small DIY projects (I once made an ushanka hat with bullets and a nuclear patch).
The truth is, I struggle to understand it. The worst part is that it leads me to compare myself to other people in the scene. :(
