Hi everyone!

I've put on some weight this past year and none of my wardrobe fits anymore. I'm on the hunt for some staples, starting with the dreaded jean shop.

I tried the Levi's Baggy Cinch jeans on in W25 and felt that the fit was okay. Honestly I'm not even sure if this fit is even considered flattering on myself. The waist is already on the tightest option, which I'm a little iffy about because being 100% cotton I assume they'll stretch and would have liked the option to tighten a smidge more if they did. But when I tried the size down, it was definitely too tight at the hips.

However, when I tried these on I noticed that the stitching along the side of my upper thigh region looked like it was pulling. I didn't feel too tight though, so I'm torn if this was just from being tried on by someone else or I need to size up?

I've been going to the gym as well with the intention on gaining muscle - so I'm not sure if I should size up to give myself some growing room, but the waist will probably be too big.

Help or suggestions for any other jeans would be much appreciated please!!
