My neighbor dug up my property with construction equipment, removed trees and boulders, and installed a rock wall and fire pit on my property and changed the land grade causing erosion. I've already confirmed the encroachment with a professional land survey and now I need a lawyer to start the legal process.
Before anyone asks whether it's worth going nuclear and suing a neighbor - it's a big deal to dig up and modify another person's land and they should be held responsible. I'm not a bad neighbor for protecting my property. I confronted them (firmly, but respectfully) when it happened and it still continued against my protest.
