It irritates me every time when Pa goes to tell Mary she is going to be blind and she is crying , in shock and stares at him and he just has his back turned to her staring into the pond . She gets up and walks away and he just sits there and ignores her . I’m always yelling at the tv “turn around and hug her ! Comfort her!”
