Bought a place with a pool a few months ago, and just started getting these microbubbles in my skimmers. It was not long after I cleaned the SWCG. The SWCG was very difficult to get off, so whoever tightened it before seems to have done more than hand tightened it. I made sure to hand tighten it after, so I wouldn’t have the same problem getting it off next time. No water seen leaking from the joints after the reconnect, so I don’t think it would be the reason for the microbubbles.
Heater was working before, but SFS light went on recently, so not sure if that could be somehow related. Ordered a new SFS, so will be putting that in soon. Didn’t see any obvious soot or debris inside heater/exhaust.
Water is at least halfway up skimmer.
Any ideas on what can be causing microbubbles? Is it ok to have this amount of microbubbles?
