I’m a Canadian RN currently doing/planning U.S. travel nursing on TN status while keeping Canada as my home base. I eventually want to immigrate permanently through EB-3 consular processing, not adjustment of status.

Has anyone successfully had an I-140/EB-3 process ongoing while still entering the U.S. on TN for travel contracts?

Did CBP give you issues with TN renewals/re-entry because of immigrant intent concerns, or was it okay as long as you maintained strong ties to Canada and continued consular processing?

Would especially appreciate hearing from Canadian nurses or TN holders who’ve actually done this.
