HELP! Ring or the Patch? Share your experience :)

Hi!!

I wanted to post on this sub because I am removing my Nexplanon next week and am going to be trying a new BC!

I'll sum up my history with BC really quick for some context: I started on the pill when I was 14 due to irregular and heavy periods. I would get them every other week and it sucked, so the pill was my first choice. The first pill I tried was not great for me and I ended up switching to Blisovi. I was on Blisovi until I was 20 for protection and also for my periods. Though Blisovi gave me issues with lightheadedness, dizziness, and I also had almost immediate breakthrough bleeding. My lifestyle is so flippant with college that I am horrible at remembering to take the pill. I ended up getting Nexplanon a year ago and my experience was a NIGHTMARE. My periods last for months on end, I had such horrible hormonal acne that I had to go to the derm to fix it, and my libido was completely screwed. Mind you I cannot get the IUD because I have 2 uteruses so my OB said that is a no go.

Here I am a year later, and I will be getting my Nexplanon out! HOORAY! But I am wondering what method would be best for me to try... My OB told me I could do the ring or the patch, but have heard mixed reviews on both. I am pretty sensitive to high estrogen levels (dizziness and headaches), which concerns me with the patch and also it falling off. I am paranoid... However, my concerns with the ring are also acne, weight gain, and the discharge/yeast infection issues. I tend to have pretty heavy discharge as is and hate it. (TMI sorry). I am curious if you guys had any advice from your experiences on what worked for you. Honestly both have their downsides and most of the subs I see are just complaining. I know no birth control perfect.

Is anyone else feeling a type of way about this class...

They said they were going to release the DB, now not releasing it.

The database is also bigger than any of the practice exams x2-3.

This class is so disorganized.
