My situation: Got my tourist visa in 2023, me and my fiancée weren’t even together at that point. We got together almost 1.5 years after I got the visa Filed for i129f. Visited multiple times, even when i129 was processing and also visited once when it was approved, left every single time.

When I came in April 2026 I had a return ticket, active job and a house lease back home. Plans changed after arrival due to personal circumstances(fiancée health) and I decided to file AOS instead of leaving and re-entering on the approved K-1.

Has anyone dealt with preconceived intent questions at their interview? What did the officer ask and how did you handle it?
