i need to know if I should buy him now or after upcoming update(approximately 1 week left+-)

he plays for Alavés in La liga. and finding him in transfer window is pure luck. i know i won’t find him soon if i play one match so i will just wait and see if he retains or anything. and yes, player will be locked for gems in case he gets one.
