I got my 07 from a buddy a couple years ago, it had an abrupt park by braille incident that left a dent in the hood, a buckle over the driver's wheel well, and the front bumper cover had a small piece broken out with some cracking. Fast forward to now and the cracks in the cover have spread and now it's officially looking unsightly.

Is it a major nightmare to update to the 09+ style with separate cover and grille assembly? I can get a used fender and hood thru my buddy's shop, and I found an ebay place that will sell me a painted cover for $400. I'm assuming there's some damage in there somewhere I can't see, but everything feels pretty solid, it doesn't rattle when driving in parking lots or anything.
