chance me pls
male, instate VA, current junior
so I lived in northern VA my entire life, then moved to my home country in central asia for 8th and 9th grade, and moved back in summer before 10th grade. in 8th grade I attended a normal state school in that country, and for 9th grade, I won a merit based scholarship to a private international school that had american grading standards and GPA. (had highest MAP test scores out of many applicants)
i'll mention the international move context (was unfamiliar with US high school when I came back and... ) in additional info section
The grading scale at that school was weird, but basically you could only earn an A or a B. I got all A's and three B's, which resulted in me having a 3.68 UW and 3.78 W freshman year (school didn't have any honors classes and freshman could take 1 AP)
school since 10th grade: competitive public high school, class size of about 550
GPA total: 3.91 UW / 4.14 W (Upward Trend, Junior year individually is 4.08UW/4.58W)
SAT: 1400 (barely studied, will study over the summer to get at least 1500+)
Coursework:
1 AP freshman, 0 AP sophomore, 3 AP junior, 2 AP 3 DE senior
senior schedule: ap calc bc, de physics, ap gov, de english. I'll also take de cybersecurity at a regional magnet school.
