Yesterday I was informed that she's trying to get all of her patients completely off it (slowly of course) because she learned that it has serious effects on the brain and can cause early dementia and brain damage. She admits that she had been prescribing it a lot to her patients, but I'd say it seems pretty serious if she wants everyone off it.

I'm going to start tapering off, personally. She seemed a little freaked out and regretful about rxing it so much. Thoughts?
