(I am not well versed in legal language) the problem started when we wanted to get property card for our house. After applying for the processes, we needed to transfer the ownership into our name as there's a chain of buyers before us. First buyer didn't object. But the second one objected saying they didn't sell the property and it's fraud. The problem is the third buyer ( who is power of attorney of the second owner) doesn't have original document of the power of attorney ( deed or whatever it is). We only possess the print copy. Weirdly, the plaintiff objected after literally 30 years. In sub registrar office, they made a lot of logical contradictions like first saying they didn't sell all plots then saying they sold one. They didn't even know where the property was located. In short, what to do now? Sub registrar office says they only keep records of last 5 years. We do have printed copy of power of attorney ( along with the registration number and collector stamp).
