I recently saw good houses with reasonable prices but I find out they do not have basements. I’m from Minnesota. Similar houses with basements are more expensive and they seem to be out of our budget. My wife prefers one with basement.
We have been in the market for a while as we have visited a good number of houses. As first Gen Homebuyers, we are very confused. Our agent is good but we feel we are being rushed. Our agent does not give clues or proper feedbacks. About 10-12 houses we visited, they always say let’s make an offer right away, and never recommended against any house yet. After we visited multiple houses that needed huge renovations, they were still pushing us to make an offer. Some houses needed renovations about $100k or more. Those houses were overpriced without even considering the renovations. Again, all the houses were perfect to our agents. Some of them are still on the market for months while they are overpriced.
How do communicate our agent about this issue?
How come conventional lenders are more honest than Islamic mortgage lenders? They are hiding so much but tell us they Muslims and do the muslim way.
