Could choosing a different clinical location affect future job opportunities?

If you selected a clinical location outside the area where you live, do you feel like you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage when it comes to finding a job after graduation?

For example, I live in DFW but listed Waco as one of my location options. Would completing clinicals in Waco make it harder to get hired by a DFW hospital afterward? Or are students who complete clinicals in DFW more likely to be hired by those hospitals because they already have connections there?

I’d love to hear from anyone who has been through the program. Did your clinical location affect where you were able to find a job?

PCT jobs in DFW

I am a state certified CNA, no experience yet. Is it impossible to get a PCT job in a hospital without experience? I feel very qualified, I’m educated, have all certs needed, but keep getting auto rejected before I can even interview. Any tips?
