The Poor Man's Stephen Colbert shoukd insist every fan should have rainbow flags flying in every game Iranians play. The flags should have three things: Be easy to hold in one hand, be cheap, and somehow be more simple than they look. Just like John Oliver. Basically, a glorified popsicle stick, a 4 inch by 4 inch flowing gay pride flag, and everybody who waives one will pretend to know 176% more about world affairs than they actually do. Just like John Oliver. Think of the international optics, and how much more effective some glorified toothpicks and Dollar Store index cards could influence international politics in a positive way than John Oliver ever could. He is too much of a coward to follow through on this, so we will have to hope somebody else has the courage to do so.
