Bringing a scooter while hopping a train?

About to hop a train for the first time here in about a week with a friend and I got a free scooter from Facebook marketplace today and I’m wondering how hard it’ll be to take it along? It’s one of the ones the people use at the skatepark for tricks. I’ve seen people hop with skateboards and full on bikes and this is kinda in between. What do you guys think? This is probably way less common than a skateboard or a bike but it beats a skateboard out of the water when getting around town much easier to use and it has a break.

Hitchhiking from SF to Seattle to New Yorky

After taking a bus from Phoenix to San Diego then hitchhiking/ bus hopping up to San Francisco I now have a lady friend going to join me in about 33 days from now I was able to scrape together enough cash to get her a bus ticket. Will be me and one other any tips on hitchhiking are appreciated! I got about 6 rides by myself but obviously the dynamic will change once it’s me and someone else. Anyone have any crazy stories about hitching? What can I expect from such a long journey? I’m homeless now and I got fired from my job at the same time I lost my housing so now I’m just thinking I’ll ride the interstates all over for a while it was fun getting up from San Diego to San Francisco

After getting kicked out of my families house about 10 days ago I took a bus to San Diego from Phoenix. After I got to San Diego a couple days later my bike broke and I had to sell it for a little but then I decided to stick my thumb out on the highway and try to get to some friends in Mount Shasta. Had 2 people pick me up so far on the highway you’d be surprised people are still willing to pick up a hitchhiker! Never done this before but made it from San Diego to Ventura in 2 days so I’d say that’s pretty good time. Anyone here have any cool hitchhiking stories or advice? This is my first journey like this in my life
