Spouse name not mentioned in passport (Indian)
Hi, I have an Indian passport which was issued in 2024 and I got married in 2025, hence the spouse name is blank in my passport. I don’t want to go through the process of adding my spouse’s name in my passport because it’s pretty new, but more importantly, I’m in a time crunch.
I’m applying for a B1/B2 visa and was wondering if I should mention that I’m married in the DS160 or during the interview. Will they question why my spouse’s name is not on the passport?
