A positive post about VA

All I’ve ever heard with the VA in terms of claims is that it’s been a fight. And just negativity. I gotta say my process was smooth.

I made a list of all my problems no matter how slight. I i made personal statements about all of them. Got all my paperwork together. Submitted late march. Got through the appointments these last 2 months. Got a decision upping my percentage from 0% to 40%. Immediately did research and realized that because i have kids i can up the amount. Filled a form on the VA site in 10 minutes, within 20 minutes of submitting the document they approved it. This was all about 3 days ago. They denied a ton of things but the really important stuff got approved so i’m happy about that. Plan to appeal a lot and get every penny im owed. Id say the worst part of the process was sitting down and doing my research and staying committed to the appointments. Other than that is was lightning fast.
