Wait Idk what to believe anymore?
I bought the 9070 XT over NVIDIA not just because of its price, but also because of its dominance in the Forza Horizon games due to the proprietary engine optimization.
I witnessed this myself in the FH5 benchmark — it was on par with the 5080, and even better in the 1% lows.
So I was really surprised. Since I’m a car guy, it’s kind of my dream to build a driving simulator someday, especially with FH6 almost making its debut.
That’s why I felt disappointed and also caught off guard when I saw benchmarks where the 9070 XT was far behind the 5080, even sitting behind NVIDIA’s 5070 Ti on TechPowerUp.
But when I checked another benchmark from what I think was a German website that got translated, my card was actually sitting above the 5070 Ti by a fairly acceptable margin — and honestly, that was what I expected in the first place.
Now I honestly don’t know what to believe anymore because there are no sources showing results that are consistently similar to one another.
