What’s the best way to tile this outside patio that already has this grill installed on the concrete. Contractor took a look and initially said he would remove it, lay the tiles and install the grill again slightly offset in position. But the grill is a single piece and has a corner so it cannot be shifted. So he finally said he would just cut the tile around the grill but leave a strip without tile for water to drain out. It would be an eyesore. Could he just not cut around the grill and completely cover it and just seal it with something so there’s no gap for water to become stagnant?
