Was listening to the BVS soundtrack because it’s honestly the best thing about that movie and saw this comment. Also “I don’t have the patience to watch this movie that’s really good and gets too much hate”.
This theory mainly comes from chapter 2 where John has a dream that shows him things that he should not know about. I know he spent time in the church during his childhood so he would know of Miriam bell and her rituals but things like the film crew, father Clark’s death, and the candy tunnel are all things he should not know about. He also dreams of meeting father Garcia in a way that is very similar to how he actually meets him chapter 3 with Garcia saving him as Miriam/Gary approaches with Garcia saying “don’t be afraid John”. Though I am not religious, I also did some light research on the biblical John. Both John the Baptist and John the apostle (who I just found out were different people) are said to be prophets. What do you guys think?
