Hi guys,

I’ve been looking for a new monitor for the past 2 days and I’m honestly getting overwhelmed with all the options and mixed reviews.

My main use cases are:

• Software dev
• Gaming, mostly PoE2
• General media consumption

What I’m looking for:

• 1440p
• IPS panel
• Mini-LED (this is the hard part)

I want to move to 1440p finally, and since I spend many hours in front of the screen, I’d like something that looks great both for productivity and gaming. I’d also prefer Mini-LED for better HDR and contrast, but the market seems extremely limited in this category.

The main model I found is the Xiaomi G Pro 27i, but reviews are very mixed:

• some people say it’s amazing value
• others complain about blooming, QC issues, bad HDR behavior, or firmware problems

So now I’m stuck.
