I have an Epson Stylus Pro 4450 that shows the error “SERVICE REQ. 0001002D” right when I turn it on, and the printer is completely blocked.
From what I understand, this is related to the cleaning unit / maintenance system life counter being reached.
The problem is that I don’t have access to the WIC Reset tool or Epson service software, and I also can’t afford a reset key or official service right now.
I’ve already checked online and most solutions mention:
WIC Reset Utility (paid key)
Epson Adjustment Program (service tool)
But I was wondering if there's ANY alternative method, workaround, or manual reset that actually works for this model?
If anyone has experience with this exact error on the 4450 or similar Epson Stylus Pro models, I’d really appreciate your help.
