I’ll be moving to on Store Street in August and was hoping to hear from people who know the area well or have been there recently.

I’m particularly interested in how the area around Store Street feels these days, especially when walking to and from Ancoats and New Islington during the day and in the evening. Has the area changed much over the last couple of years?
I’d also be interested in hearing if there are any spots or routes locals tend to avoid, or if there are any parts that are especially pleasant to walk through.

Finally, if you have any favourite cafés, pubs, restaurants, or other places nearby that you think are worth checking out, I’d love to hear your recommendations.
