I am planning to get a tattoo in Vietnamese and I would like to double-check the meaning and the phrasing with native speakers before it's permanent. My idea of family is based on principles and choice rather than just blood. To me, family is the people I choose to love and who are important to me. I was suggested the phrase: "Gia đình do tâm chọn" Does this sound natural and poetic for a tattoo? Does it correctly convey the idea of "Family chosen by the heart/soul"? Are the accents (diacritics) correctly placed? I want something elegant, feminine, and meaningful. If you have any other suggestions that might sound more "native" or "noble" to express "Family by choice", please let me know! Thank you so much for your help!
