Spiraling

Hello all,

I’m sure there are multiple people in the same boat as me, applied early June to about 8 programs. Been flat out rejected from one, interview waitlist from another & radio silent from the other 6.

Starting to feel like my second application cycle is also going to be a bust. I’m constantly on the edge and anxious. It’s all my fault for being ambitious & only applying to programs I’d be happy to go to. Seeing my friends I graduated with (‘25) either already in PA school, just started or already accepted makes me feel like a failure & I should start looking for another career path. Just all around depressing.

Early June Verification Timeline

Hello future PAs, I was just curious how long it's taken anyone who has submitted in the last week to get their application verified?

Worried im technically going to be on the late side if I submit within the next day or so, with verification and such. Thanks tons

LOR worries/late submission anxiety

I sent all (but one) of my evaluators emails at the beginning of April and my only PA recommender is the only one I am waiting for. I have yet to receive my fee waiver, so I hoping she sends that through before I need to submit. I’m worried about the letters I currently have.

1 from leadership supervisor, 1 from director of leadership, 1 from lab professor, 1 from epidemiology professor, and 1 from PA. I’m deeply regretting the letter from lab professor bc I have been able to get a possible letter from MD i’ve shadowed (he replied super late), but all of my other letters are submitted. I’m scared to email to tell him to rescind the letter because that feels rude. I believe 2 healthcare professionals would be better than my current line-up.

I also am scared I’m submitting too late. I submitted all of my apps mid/late June last year and didn’t get supplementals paid for until late July. Someone help!
