Sam Maloof used this exact chair for demos whenever he taught at Highland Woodworking. You can see how he sculpted the arms and seat, how he turned the legs, and the Maloof joint. It was never finished. Anyone can go into the store and sit in it.

And if you're ever inside the seminar room, there's also a canvas of him holding that same chair in one of his lectures.
