Which plan should I take on next?

Hi Runnas :) I’m about to complete my « return to running » plan and curious to hear your thoughts on which plan I should select next. I’m not the fastest runner but I’ve signed up for a half marathon that’s taking place mid-October 2026 - perhaps it’s too soon to start the race training plan for that? I was thinking perhaps the 5k improvement plan to try to shave off some time on my 5k. I’m getting very close to running a sub-30 min 5k and this is one of my goals on my road to the half marathon. What do you think? Is there a better plan to start with before I dive into the race training plan?
Also would love advice on whether to select « beginner » or « intermediate ». I love to challenge myself but I’m really unsure where I fall between these two. Intermediate is described as regularly running 5k distances but given that I’m only just completing the return to running plan which has had me working my way back up to those 5k distances, I’m not sure that entirely qualifies as « regularly » running 5k especially since I can’t yet run that distance in under 30 min (31 though so I’m close!). I’m inclined to select beginner but want to ensure I’m sufficiently challenged.
Thanks for your help and advice!
