The long awaited Lilith's Red Carpet
I just finished watching the latest episode and all I can say is IT'S SO FRICKING GOOD. I've long awaited this arc since I read the manga and holy did it exceed my expectations. This is arguably one of the best episodes in the series, better yet in all school animes.
The animation surpasses OPM, it was terrifyingly smooth and the designs were EATING. We get a moment of each misfit in the episodes and let me tell you how I was drooling over Jazz and Sabnock. The colors were vibrant and impaling, and the FX just made it better.
The VAs did a gorgeous job especially with Elizabetta. Along with the accompanied music, it felt like I was actually watching a play. Purson's part was insane, no amount of words can fathom his performance. I've always been wondering what his trumpet sounded like and its seriously awesome how they directed it.
Even though the anime is undeniably cringe at times, every arc is unique on its own. That's what makes it bearable for the most part, it really makes you wanna come back for more.
Overall, the episode was intriguing, and the ending was absolutely wholesome. Though it was the shortest 22 minutes of my life. They really went all out with everything, salute to the team for that. I can't wait for the judges reaction next episode.
